1.The formula of Waterbased Acrylic Photoluminescent Paint(unit: gram):

H2O 150
PL for Paint 400
Latex 400
Film-Forming Agent 24
Thickness Agent 20
Emulsion Agent : OP-10 3
Deforming Agent 1
Preservative 1
Dispersing Agent 1

2.Solvent photoluminescent paint

There are many kinds of solvent PL paints mainly composed of PL pigment, solvent, assistant,(membrane forming agent, antifoamer, viscosity-adjusting agent, anti-aging agent). When develop this kind of paint, we suggest use our specially surface-treated pigment that can help the stability and suspension of the paint.

Detailed directions for manufacture:

> Select transparent neutral organic resin, such as acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, PET resin, PVC resin, Poly vinyl-alcohol butyl aldehyde resin and SBS resin etc.

> Select the PL pigment with the particle size of 10-50μm, the weight ratio of 20%—50%;

> Grind the PL pigment by high-speed-dispersion or ball-grinding method in enamel-lined facility, you had better not grind it in metal facility to avoid being contaminated;

> Select the resin with the viscosity of 2000—5000 poise or add viscosity –adjusting assistant to avoid the deposition of PL pigments.

> Cannot add heavy metal compound as additive.

THE DETAILED APPLICATIONS:

> This PL paint can be used by brushing, spraying, roll-smearing method;
> The thickness of PL paint layer should be more than 200um to attain the perfect effect.
> First brush/ spray one layer of white paint as the primer to fasten the brightness.
> Finally brush clear varnish on the PL paint layer to strengthen the smooth finish and weather-resistance nature.
> You can dilute the PL paint according to the ways of application.

1. Monocomponent: acrylic resin (50%) 80—50

gaseous silicon dioxide silica 1—2
Mainly used on wood and metal surface.
The characteristics: fast-drying, easy to use, good weather- resistance.
The technical index is as follows:
Adhesion grade 1
Water-resistance 48hours passed
Drying Surface dry 25oC ≤20mins
Whole dry 25oC ≤ 4 hours
Afterglow(thickness: 250um, time: 1 hour) ≤ 30mcd/m2


2. Bicomponent (%)


One: PL pigment 20—50
Acrolactic acid resin: 80—50
Gaseous (silicon dioxide) silica 1-2
Dispersant: 0.3
Second: biuret 10—20

Mainly used on paint plate, dial plate, acts with the traits of fast drying and good weather-resistance.

whole dry 25oC ≤12 hours
Adhesion grade 1

3. Component 1


Epoxy resin 80-50

Gaseous (silicon dioxide) silica 1-2
Dispersant 0.5

Component 2:

solidification 20—30
The characteristics: excellent adhesion, acid-resistance, abrasion performance, alkali-resistance, water-resistance, oil-resistance and so on.

The above-mentioned formula is used for pouring molding- handicraft.
